Year 6 will be attending Woonona High School for the Community of Schools CoS Year 6 Days on Monday 26 February, Monday 27 May and Monday 19 August 2024.
These days are part of Woonona High School’s CoS transition plan which is designed to help prospective students become accustomed to the teachers, students and surroundings of Woonona High School. Year 6 students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) investigations in laboratories and workshops, Humanities inquiry-based learning projects and Creative and Performing Arts mini production in specialist spaces including Drama theatre and Visual Arts studio spaces.
As all experiences in high school settings are valuable, all Year 6 students are expected to attend this excursion, regardless of future high school preference.
