Time

9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Location
Symbio Wildlife Park

All Stage 2 classes 3-4A, 3-4B, 3-4L, 3-4N, 3-4R and 3-4T will be visiting Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh on Thursday 16 May 2024. This excursion has been planned to reinforce content we are learning about in geography this semester. Travel will be in a seat-belted coach. The cost of the excursion is $35.00. Students must wear their full sports uniform, joggers and school hat. Children will need to bring water, recess and lunch in a small backpack. There will be no opportunity to buy anything so students will not require any money. If light rain is forecast, the excursion will still go ahead, so students are required to bring their own raincoats. We will be departing school promptly at 9:00am. Traffic permitting, we will return to school by 2:40pm. If our arrival back to school is delayed, you will receive an SMS text notification from the school via Sentral Parent Portal. Students will be dismissed from their usual gate at 3:00pm. Students will have the opportunity to feed the animals through the kangaroo, wallaby walk and farmyard area. They will also have the opportunity to touch and interact with animals in these areas. We will have nine staff supervising students on the excursion. Permission and payment is due by Thursday 9 May 2024.
